Well the winter holidays are finally well and truly over... Yes it is a very looong one here - not all of it is actually free days, but all the family and friends meet ups are done at this period, and for me this year it was very important to uphold my social connections properly, no matter how exhausting it sometimes is.
I'm back to work and back to learning full scale... Well as long as I don't catch a cold - winter is really not my season :)
I finished doing the full update for the Dark Court outfits to have full SuperFly texture support and I have to say that Poser11 ability to set the subdivide level on any model is a very, very nice thing indeed - now I can run the simulation on a lower polygon model and set the subdivision level later for the best results - both time efficient and so very convenient.
The sets for both V4 and M4 are available on Rendo : www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/ve…
I've been messing around with DS the last couple of days as well - the worst part of working with a new program is not knowing wither you can't make it do something because you are bad or because it is an actual program limitation... After so many years of working with Poser I can tell when something is supposed to work, or some function is supposed to be there, and in case of issues and glitches I can althou figure out what is and is not my fault...
DS thou is a whole different story - I finally managed to streamline the process of making morphs in Blender (no way I'm adding a different 3D editor on top of the new posing soft) which is a huge relive, since I still can't figure out how to make deformers influence only specific material/pre assigned groups...
